Culture Night 2009 Details!

A student-initiated, student-run, and student-performed production, Thai Smakom is proud to present our 11th Annual Thai Culture Night, titled "Destined | เพราะว่า...".

This year's plot centers around two characters whose destinies transcend lifetimes. Tragedies befall our two main characters, and their กรรม (karma) dictates the direction of their next life. Appropriately titled "Destined | เพราะว่า (phro wa)", the drama illustrates how actions in one lifetime can have have profound effects on our next lifetime.

PERFORMANCES INCLUDE:

Traditional Dance "Ram 4 Pak"
Modern Dance
Muay Thai (martial arts)
Look Toong (Thai folk music)
Wai Khru
We will also have a fashion show showcasing modernized Thai clothing that will be available for auction during the intermission.

UCLA students can pick up tickets at the Central Ticket Office starting Monday, January 19 with a valid BruinCard. 2 tickets per ID.

Exit at Sunset and go east (left turn). Turn right onto Hilgard. Make an immediate right and enter campus. Parking Structure #3 is straight ahead.

FROM 405 NORTH:
Exit at Sunset and go east (right turn). Turn right onto Hilgard. Make an immediate right and enter campus. Parking Structure #3 is straight ahead.

FROM SUNSET WEST:
Turn left onto Hilgard. Make an immediate right and enter campus. Parking Structure #3 is straight ahead.

FROM WILSHIRE WEST:
Turn right onto Westwood Blvd. Turn right on Le Conte. Turn left onto Hilgard. Turn left on Wyton and enter campus. Turn right on Young Drive and Parking Structure #3 will be on your left hand side.
