Community

TASSEL, or Thai American Students for Success in Education and Leadership, is a program created and hosted by UCLA's Thai Smakom in order to allow volunteers from UCLA to contribute their time and efforts into improving the new generations of the Thai-American youth community. We aim to to create not only a healthy learning environment, but also to create bonds between prospective volunteers, tutors and tutees, and parents for the advancement in education and the Thai-American community in Los Angeles.

Come help make a difference in the future generations of the Thai Community. We tutor kids of all ages from elementary school to high school. Food will be provided courtesy of Wat Thai.
